About Kimberly
I’m Kimberly Flear, founder of Last Call.

I spent 25 years on the front lines of hospitality, serving, bartending, managing, opening restaurants, reading rooms, putting out fires, and learning exactly what this industry asks of its people.
I also learned what happens when the things we praise as resilience, loyalty, and toughness start costing people more than we’re willing to admit.
I lived the culture. I loved it. I excelled in it. And eventually, I drowned in it.
That experience became the foundation for Last Call.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of hospitality, leadership, burnout, recovery, and retention. I help leaders see the patterns underneath turnover, challenge what the industry has learned to call normal, and create workplaces where people can actually stay well enough to stay.
My approach is practical, direct, and deeply human. It’s built on lived experience, professional training, and one belief I’m unwilling to let go of:
Hospitality can demand excellence without sacrificing the people delivering it.
